Considering a run in 2012
Mood:  energetic

I'm very excited about the possibilities of running for office in 2012.  I will come to a decision by the end of April.  I do not want to say anything sooner because it won't be until late June or July until the final ballot would be finalized. It looks like the rules are the same - It will take 100 signatures to make the ballot in November. Will keep everyone posted.

UPDATE: I'm on the ballot!!!!  for the 12th Congessional District - Thank you to everyone for making this happen!

We got the signatures!
Mood:  energetic
WE DID IT - 123 Signatures.  A victory for the campaign. In other news last night primaries were held. Incumbent Rush Holt was unopposed while on the Republican side Scott Sipprelle won a close race against David Corsi.  This makes for a very interesting November race. No matter what happens on election day, win or lose I'm proud of my supporters.

100 Signatures or bust!
Mood:  energetic
Getting on the ballot will be a victory no matter what happens on election night!  We're getting closer but the deadline is fast approaching. Keep our fingers crossed. The 12th district is so split between towns it's a long process determining who can sign the petition - but it's fun.

A Change In Congress
Mood:  a-ok
It is time for our Congress to put party affilation aside and start believing in bi-partisianship. A goal that I have (if elected) would be to work with both Democrats and Republicans and find solutions to our nations problems by passing legislation that can benefit all Americans. I would enter the Congress with an open mind because I truely believe that both parties (Dems & Repubs) want the best for our country. If we all can work together and take the best ideas from conservatives and liberals and meet in the center - we can have a more efficient house of representatives that represent all Americans.  We do have challenges ahead - a sluggish economy and a war that never ends but there is hope. Some say that "meeting in the center" is a form of giving up your beliefs, I say if it benefits our country and our people making concessions in this case would be patriotic. Take care - Talk to you later!

Too Much Spending On Campaigning
Mood:  a-ok
I think it is time to stop the outrageous money spent on elections. Each year it seems that the money candidates use and the contributions given are outrageous. That is why I believe that a candidates  message is most important than the money he or she can raise. That is why we will not accept any money to fund this campaign.  As I say "keep the hard earned money you make or spend it on yourself, friends and family - save it or pump it back into our economy not into politicians pockets!" If you find this message positive - The only contribution from you that I want is to spread the message about us. Because a voice IS more important than $$$$.
